RAK DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES ORGANIZED A TRAINING PROGRAM ENTITLED ‘EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP ROLE IN HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

In line with its efforts to build and develop the organizational abilities of government entities with respect to HR management, RAK Department of Human Resources organized a training program entitled ‘Executive Leadership Role in Human Capital Management’. The program was held on 6th and 7th December 2021 and it targeted the general managers of RAK government entities ‎H.E. Dr. Mohamed Abdullatif Khalifa, General Manager of the Department of Human Resources, said “This training program highlights the importance of human resources in the government and gives a better understanding of the optimum use of human resources for supporting decision makers as well as knowing the new trends in human resources and their impact on digital human resources, modern systems, HR future, and management of promising talents.” During the day, the most prominent HCM related issues and challenges faced by government executive officers have been addressed along with the challenges in the work environment, transformation in human resources, as well as discussing the global best practices in this area. It has also witnessed demonstrating global examples of efficient HR systems and the role of Mawaredna (SuccessFactors) system in creating flexibility in government operations and procedures. Human Resources Transformation Journey The second day of training highlighted the common practices in HR data analysis and the latest trends in the public sector, it has also highlighted the role of today’s leadership in HR transformation in addition to the importance of employee engagement and value proposition. The training included a number of exercises on including HR criteria in the business dashboard as well as case studies.
