The Emirates Foundation, in collaboration with Ras Al Khaimah Government (RAK) Human Resources Department (DoHR) and with Al Ansari Exchange, launched a strategic initiative to establish the first specialised business development centre in Ras Al Khaimah, as part of its commitment to bolstering economic and social development. Following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to designate 2025 as the \u2018Year of the Community,\u2019 the initiative seeks to empower local talent and boost their contributions to the labour market. The three organisations collaborated closely to launch the project under the Emirates Foundation’s \u2018Dawamee\u2019 programme. In addition to holding educational workshops to improve the preparedness of local cadres for work in the private sector, the initiative aims to expand career opportunities and recruit Ras Al Khaimah citizens at Al Ansari Exchange. It also emphasises empowering specific social groups, such as housewives, people of determination, and residents residing in remote areas, by providing them with opportunities that promote holistic development, financial independence, and social stability. As part of the company’s commitment to empowering and integrating local talents into the labour market, the program intends to create 250 new job opportunities at Al Ansari Exchange over the course of three years, in addition to specialised training initiatives. This endeavour lays the groundwork for an effective partnership with the RAK Government, which will ensure successful outcomes in the implementation of Emiratization and its success. Through this initiative, the partners are actively promoting social responsibility in line with the \u2018Year of the Community\u2019 vision. The initiative represents an effort to revitalise public-private sector collaboration where its strategic plans will be supported to translate the leadership vision into reality term and comprehensive national development. By providing a successful model that can be applied across all of the emirates, the initiative will encourage cooperation among communities and open up new avenues for development.
