The Department of Human Resources completed 3 initiatives within the standards of the National Agenda that are linked with FAHR across the Emirates. These initiatives are considered government accelerators that work as a platform for teams from different government entities across the country to address challenges and achieve goals in a short period of time.<\/p>\n
As part of its efforts to encourage integration between the entities, the Department of Human Resources participated in the implementation of the joint national initiatives of the annual meetings of the UAE Government. The DHR accomplished three of the most important initiatives including the initiative of alignment and integration of human resources policies and systems, in which it was recommended that the FAHR be provided with all Human resources policies and systems available in local governments to establish a bank of human resources policies and systems for the UAE Government. This is to be included in the Bank of Human Resources Policies and Systems, which was developed by FAHR in March 2018 to form an electronic platform containing federal and local human resources systems and policies.
\nMs. Noura Al-Shehhi, Deputy General Manager of the DHR, explained that the department is the first local entity to complete the initiative to link the unified database of government human resources. A technical workshop was held on January 24th and 28th with technical teams in local governments, in the presence of a team of human resources, to discuss an action plan for the electronic link with local governments to create a standardized statistical database at the state level. She referred to the role of our wise leadership who fully believe in Emirati youth and their high potential and capabilities that qualify them to assume the helm of responsibility in the future, continue the path of achievements, and enhance their contributions to advancing the sustainable development of the UAE.
\nAlongside the Human Resources Club initiative, RAK Department of Human Resources has set the date and topic for the 2018 Human Resources Club session. Accordingly, the first session of the Human Resources Club was held in Ras Al Khaimah on March 29th, 2018, under the title “Achieving Benefit from Human Resources Indicators and Measures”, as the emirate was one of the first entities to cooperate in organizing the Human Resources Club.
