RAK Human Resources Department Participates in the World Food Day

RAK Department of Human Resources participated in the celebration of the World Food Day, announced by the United Nations through the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), which falls on October 16th of each year. The department celebrates World Food Day to raise awareness of combating hunger and its effects, shed light on the hungry and their suffering as a result of food shortages across the world, and the best way to preserve the blessing of food, which God Almighty has bestowed upon us. The DHR Communications Office organized a special event for this global occasion, during which it distributed nutritional meals and educational leaflets on the importance of a healthy and balanced diet, which helps employees increase their productivity and maintain sound health, which contributes to the prevention of several diseases that may affect his health and productivity at work and life. It also emphasized the importance of preserving food without extravagance and waste. The employees of the Department expressed their great happiness with the interest of the senior management in their health and wellbeing, which helps increase their productivity and create a healthy and happy work environment.
