“Future Government Projects Feasibility Study” Training Program for Promising Leaders
In order to build the organizational abilities and achieve excellence in national talents performance in the government to achieve the strategic objectives and deal with any developments in government work and future challenges, the Department of Human Resources, represented in the Emiratization and Talents Department, launched a training program called “Future Government Projects Feasibility Study” which targeted 20 promising leaders who have shown skills and potential. The program covered a number of topics including how to define a project, its objectives, and scope, market analysis, study of potential supply and demand, estimating the costs of executing and operating the project, analysing the anticipated benefits, analysing the economic, social, and environmental aspects of the project, estimating the financial feasibility of the project using financial analysis tools; such as net present value (NPV) and ROI, risk assessment as well developing strategies and making the decision whether or not to execute the project.
