“A Dialogue on Human Capital” Explores the Future of National Talent in Ras Al Khaimah

Emirates Association for Social Development organized a session titled “A Dialogue on Human Capital,” at its headquarters in Ras Al Khaimah as part of its “Dialogue with an Official” series. The session highlighted the fundamentals of modern development and the importance of investing in people as the primary driver of progress and innovation.

The session hosted H.E. Sarah Ahmed Al Zaabi, Director General of RAK Department of Human Resources, who shared insights on the current state of human capital and its future development amid rapid global transformations.

She emphasized that investing in human capital is a strategic imperative and the cornerstone of sustainable development, noting that the Department’s vision is aligned with the long-term direction of RAK Government. It aims to build an integrated human capital ecosystem, enhance the employee experience, and strengthen involvement in decision-making.

Al Zaabi added that the current strategy is built around several key pillars, including improving employee quality of life, empowering national talent, and leveraging digital transformation as a key enabler of decision-making. She also highlighted the importance of establishing effective partnerships across government, private, and academic sectors to ensure a cohesive approach to developing national talent capable of meeting future requirements.

She further discussed the fundamental transformations taking place within the human resources sector, emphasizing the importance of aligning education with labor market needs.

H.E. Khalaf Salem bin Anbar, Director General of Emirates Association for Social Development, emphasized that human capital is the foundation upon which progress pathways are built, in order to achieve organizational excellence and foster a more sustainable future.

He added that the emergence of national talent assuming leadership roles across the UAE is a source of pride and a strong incentive to continue investing in people, while further strengthening the education and training ecosystem to sustain this progress.
