The Department of Human Resources organized a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the technical competences project to acknowledge the enormous efforts made by the team to complete the project within the set timeframe.
The DHR, in cooperation with People First, managed to complete this project aimed at developing and updating job descriptions for all government positions as per the global standards. The project focused on identifying and detailing the technical competencies required for all job families and updating 500 JDs within these families to ensure the efficient planning of jobs and applying the best practices in HR planning and jobs analysis.
The project also covered the development of a comprehensive HCM policy for RAK Government to support the organizational objectives and enhance the organizational performance of the government. Applying these technical competencies will also help improve the interviewing and recruitment process as well as identifying performance expectations and evaluation to ensure achieving the strategic objectives and providing the best services.
