RAK Department of Human Resources is the first entity in the Emirate to receive the organizational innovation management certification TS16555-1

As part of its organizational excellence efforts and accomplishments, and in line with its vision of “Excellent HCM as per the International Standards in terms of Legislation, Practices and Services”, the DHR, in cooperation with PDCA Management Consulting, the leading entity in this field, achieved a distinguished achievement at the level of RAK Government by receiving the organizational innovation management certification TS16555-1 from Lloyd’s Register, as one of the first government entities to obtain this prestigious certificate at the Emirate level.

H.E. Dr. Muhammad Abdullatif Khalifa, General Manager of the DHR, confirmed during the ceremony that receiving the TS16555-1 certificating materializes the vision of the wise leadership aimed at encouraging government creativity and innovation in all fields across the Emirate. H.E. stressed that the Department has worked as per the standards on building and sustaining the application of an institutional system for managing creativity and innovation that focuses on the value and importance of ideas and suggestions presented by employees of government agencies and employees of the Department, and to ensure monitoring and following up their implementation, which contributes to enhancing organizational performance and the happiness of government employees and all stakeholders in the Emirate.

He praised the project team and all employees who contributed to this achievement and thanked them for the excellence and professionalism they showed during the implementation of the project. He also directed those concerned in the department to cooperate with all government entities in the Emirate to spread the DHR’s experience in applying the standard in a way that serves the achievement of strategic goals of RAK Government.
Ms. Sheikha Al-Hebsi, Manager of the Organizational Development Office, added that this achievement was the culmination of the DHR’s efforts to support creativity and innovation and to focus on innovative projects such as the 5p project, which focuses on 5 elements of happiness in RAK Government, which was shared as the best government practices in happiness. The DHR devoted its efforts to support innovators from the government and society by giving them the opportunity to participate in the exhibition of social innovations that was held during the month of innovation, in addition to providing innovation programs to the employees of the department and the community and enabling them to generate ideas, apply them and transform them into innovative projects.
